Dedicated new gift card platform opens up a world of travel and retail rewards options for more Saga Club members.

Icelandair has extended its partnership with Loylogic, the global loyalty and rewards engagement technology specialist, to launch a new gift card platform that provides greater points redemption choice to members of the Icelandair Saga Club loyalty program around the world.

The new-look Saga Club global incentives platform provides access to a broader range of travel and transportation related redemption offerings and, crucially, the ability to redeem points with the world's leading retail brands. Along with a wider choice of products comes a broader range of price points, opening up redemption offerings and driving engagement for more of the million-plus Saga Club membership.

The new platform, which utilises Loylogic's Rewards Hub technology and international merchant network, is now live and available to all members.

Hákon Davíð Halldórsson, Director of Customer Engagement and Analytics at Icelandair, commented: “Our ultimate goal is simply to ensure that Icelandair Saga Club members are getting the most out of their membership, making sure that the benefits as well as options for accrual and redemption are relevant to all members. We are therefore very excited to add the new gift card platform to our program as it adds a portfolio of top brands and services that customers can redeem through their Saga Points.
"We are confident that the option to tailor points redemption to fit each member's preference will greatly enhance member experience and drive engagement with Icelandair Saga Club."
Gabi Kool, Loylogic's CEO added: "Loylogic's global incentives solutions are based on the knowledge that customers expect to be empowered with more engaging options, more often. That's exactly what we're delivering through our extended partnership with Icelandair.
"This new gift card solution is exciting as it opens up a vast array of additional redemption offerings, expanding on the hotel and car rental options of the past by bringing the biggest brands in travel and retail to Saga Club members. With more choice and greater flexibility in terms of the number of points needed for rewards, Icelandair's Saga Club program will become more engaging than ever."
